Who am I?
My name is Katy Coope (Though online I often go by 'KT') and I am a 23 year old artist/author type person currently living in Manchester, England. I was born in Derbyshire, and went to university in Hull for 4 years, where I got a first class BA Hons in English Literature and Philosophy, and an MA in Contemporary Literature and Film.

What do I do?
I draw stuff and write things. More specifically I'm a cartoonist and illustrator, and take my influences both from manga and western comics. My recent writing has mostly been in educational or academic areas, but I also have a number of other projects in the works. What have I done already?
I had my first book 'How To Draw Manga' published by Scholastic when I was 16 and produced a follow up, ”How to Draw More Manga” two years later. Since then I have been developing my work on various projects and private commissions.

What do I like?
My favourite genres are SF, crime fiction and urban fantasy/mythic realism/whatever you call it when normal life gets touched by the strange. I love books and comics in general, especially things with metafictional, philosophical or otherwise slightly bizarre tendencies. As well as comics, literature and film, I also love music and philosophy.
